You have a great idea for a project. You want to your music to reach new audiences. I can help you to fund it.

I’ll help you with every stage of your application, from making your ideas more concrete, to creating time lines, artists’ statements, and budgets, to writing the perfect answers to all of those grant application questions. I can talk to you about choosing support material, and help you to decide when, where and how to apply for funding.

I’ve written numerous successful grant applications for arts organizations, bands and individual musicians to the Canada Council for the Arts, the Ontario Arts Council, and the Toronto Arts Council. I was part of a team which wrote a successful application to the Ontario Trillium Foundation. I have also written applications to FACTOR and the Metcalf Foundation.

Arranging & Copy Work

I have written tasteful, simple arrangements of other people’s songs for choir, big band, full orchestra and full orchestra with rhythm section.

I have copied scores for many professional ensembles, including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Symphony Nova Scotia, the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, John Hollenbeck Large Ensemble, and the choir at Timothy Eaton Memorial United Church. I am equally at home in Finale and Sibelius, and will deliver in hard or soft copy for reasonable rates.
